– 3 :00 PM – Lecture in French by Isaline Remy (writer) and Martina Moriss (writer of detective novels) at the home of Peterson Conway

Martina Moriss and Isaline Remy are passing through for the Carmel Art and Film Festival. They will come to visit our Alliance and offer to speak about writing a novel.

Martina Moriss explains the creation of the detective novel. Is it a police investigation? Fiction or reality? How to choose the topics, depending on what? Who? What is the difference between a thriller and a police investigation?

– Isaline Remy talks about the “social novel or historical novel, in both cases, the author is a conveyor of memory.”

Martina Moriss is a writer of social novels and thrillers that are published in France and French-speaking countries. After One-Way Ticket to La Baule was published in 2013 in « Edition du bout de la rue », she has just published her 11th novel, The Inherited Prison, a thrilling novel, full of subtle intrigue.

She divides her time between Paris and La Baule, but has also traveled extensively abroad to give lectures and to participate in literary salons presenting her works. Each year she conducts writing workshops for children and adults on various topics.

Isaline Remy is a writer, actress and literary journalist. She has had a passion for over 25 years in the arts and letters in their various forms of expression and has received numerous awards. She is currently a writer and critic for Le Journal Indépendant and Agence Bretagne Presse. Her writing is prolific and eclectic. She has written, among other publications :

– 15h Conférence en français par Isaline Remy (écrivain) et Martina Moriss (écrivain de romans policiers) chez Peterson Conway

Martina Moriss et Isaline Remy de passage à Carmel pour le Art and Film Festival viennent rendre visite à notre Alliance et proposent de parler de l’écriture du roman.

Martina Moriss expliquera la création du roman policier. Est-ce une enquête policière ? Une fiction ou une réalité? Comment choisir les sujets, en fonction de quoi? De qui? Quelle est la différence entre le roman noir et l’enquête policière ?

– Isaline Remy parlera du « Roman de société ou roman historique, dans les deux cas l’auteur est une passeur de mémoire ».

Martina Moriss est un écrivain de romans de société et de romans policiers qui sont publiés en France et dans les pays francophones. Après « Un aller simple pour La Baule » paru en 2013 à Edition du bout de la rue, elle vient de publier son 11ème roman « La prison en héritage » un roman haletant et chargé d’intrigues subtiles.

Elle partage sa vie entre La Baule et Paris, mais voyage aussi beaucoup à l’étranger pour donner des conférences ou participer à des salons littéraires pour y présenter ses ouvrages. Chaque année, elle dirige des ateliers d’écriture pour enfants et adultes, sur des thèmes variés.

Isaline Remy est écrivain, comédienne et journaliste littéraire. Elle se passionne depuis plus de 25 ans pour les arts et les lettres dans leurs diverses expressions. Elle a obtenu de nombreux prix. Elle est actuellement rédactrice et critique pour La Revue Indépendante et Agence Bretagne Presse. Son écriture est prolifique et éclectique, elle a écrit entre autres :
